Developed in a rugged IP68 enclosure, the AQ IoT Meter Logger is designed for use in harsh environments. The device has a built-in modem for bidirectional communication and battery power in the form of three D batteries which is sufficient to send data at intervals for more than 7 years. Sustainability values have been key in the design. Batteries can be replaced and in the event of failure of the electronic components, only the cover of the device with the electronics needs to be replaced, leaving the cable connections to the sensors intact. The device collects data (pulses) from up to four sensors and stores them in an internal memory which can be changed at will from 0.01 seconds up to one month. The sending time can be selected independently - from 1 minute up to 1 time per month. The device can be configured with a USB cable or Bluetooth interface via the AQ Setup software or remotely via the AQ WEB app. The settings can be kept factory default (saving data every 30 minutes and sending 2 times a day). On AQ IoT devices hardware alarms can be set for each input separately - manually, subsequently via the AQ WEB interface or set automatically by AQ WEB using an algorithm. With a hardware alarm the system notifies us as soon as it happens. When the number of pulses is exceeded, the machine sends an alarm to the server and AQ WEB then forwards it to the user via SMS or email. In this way we are always informed at the same moment when a pipe bursts or something unforeseen happens.
